FAQs

How long will my spray tan last?

With the combination of high quality products I am using, applying lotion daily, avoiding hot tubs, saunas, exfoliating, using rough sponges, and out of the shower/bath pat dry, your spray tan can last up to 12 days.

How long will it take my spray tan to develop?

The Sjolie Rapid Solution develops in 2-5 hours: 2 hours=light tan, 3 hours=medium tan, 4 hours=dark tan, 5 hours=extra dark tan.

How long do I have to wait to shower after getting a rapid spray tan?

After waiting the length of time for the level of tan you would like to achieve, or reach the color you would like to keep, you will rinse off with water ONLY. You will see some color run off in the shower, this is just the bronzer. The tanning solution is slowed down and will only slightly continue to develop until the next day. The next day you can shower and use all of your products. It is also ok to shave with a razor.

How do I prepare for my rapid spray tan?

Exfoliate and remove unwanted hair 24 hours before your tan and shower no less than 6 hours before your appointment. Do not to wear any products that will act as a barrier between the solution and your skin: lotions, creams, perfumes, deodorants, or makeup.

What do I wear to my appointment?

Loose fitting, dark clothes. Tight fitting clothes will rub off the solution causing an uneven tan and the bronzer will leave marks on light clothing. Although the bronzer and solution will wash out of your clothes, you will not want marks on your clothes if you are going to work or running errands.

If I work out often, will sweating shorten the time of my tan?

Not at all. Before you work out, apply baby powder on areas where you sweat the most. Be sure to apply the powder to your chest and cleavage.

How long will my appointment last?

30 minutes at my home, 45 minutes from setup to tear down at your home.
